Hi, I’m Anne Palmer! I live in Newbury with my husband and our beloved dog, Jack, who’s 14 but still has the energy of a 4-year-old. Life is never dull with him around!
 

My photography journey began with a love for wildlife. I’ll never forget spotting my first kingfisher—it was love at first sight! Capturing that little flash of blue became my first photography challenge, and it’s a passion that’s only grown since. Fun fact: it still shows as Anne Thompson—I wasn’t married when I created it, so consider it a little time capsule of my early photography days!
 

From wildlife to pets, my love for photography naturally expanded. After a joyful puppy shoot with some adorable Dachshunds, then energetic photoshoots in the local woods, Wags and Smiles Pet Photography was born—capturing tails, paws, and endless smiles ever since. And it’s not just dogs! I love photographing all kinds of pets, big or small, feathered, scaly, or otherwise.
 

Photography for me is all about capturing personality, joy, and those little moments that make each animal unique. I can’t wait to meet your four-legged stars (and all your other amazing pets!) and help them shine in front of the camera!
