Welcome to our FAQ! We’ve gathered the questions we hear most from pet lovers like you. Let’s make sure the stars of the show are all set for their moment in the spotlight!
What types of sessions do you do?
I offer outdoor shoots in beautiful natural settings as well as in-home sessions for a cozy, familiar feel.
How long will my session be?
Indoor shoots are nice and quick (30–60 mins), while outdoor adventures last around 1–2 hours. Prices vary depending on what you’re after.
How many photos will I receive?
Indoor sessions come with 3 images, outdoor sessions with 5 — and you can add more for £10 each if you fall in love with extras!
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes! I do offer gift vouchers — perfect for birthdays, Christmas, or treating a fellow pet lover to a fun photo experience.
How long will it take to receive my photos?
Edited images will be delivered within 7–10 days of the session.
Weather & Rescheduling?
We all know how unpredictable the British weather can be! If it looks like rain or the conditions aren’t ideal for your session, I’ll happily reschedule at no extra cost. We’ll find a new date that works for you and your pet—no stress, no fuss.
Dogs on leads
I love capturing pets off-lead to showcase their natural energy and personality. However, I understand that some locations or situations may require dogs to remain on lead for safety. Leads can often be edited out in final images to maintain a clean and natural look.
Can people be in the photos with their pets?
Absolutely! You're more than welcome to join your pet in the photos. Whether it’s a sweet cuddle, a playful moment, or a family portrait. It’s your session — feel free to be part of the fun!
Do you provide RAW files?
No — I don’t release RAW files. You’ll receive beautifully edited high-quality JPEGs.
Can I post the photos on social media?
Of course! A little tag for Wags & Smiles is always welcome but never required.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes — a £20 non-refundable deposit is required. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session.
Can I choose the location?
Yes - I can suggest great secure spots, or we can go somewhere meaningful to you and your pet, if it is an outdoor shoot.
What should I bring to the session?
Treats, toys, leads, and anything that makes your pet feel happy and comfortable.
